We manufacture quality timber windows in our Cirencester Workshop. We can work to any design, including flush casement windows, stormproof, or traditional sliding sashes. Whether you're looking to replace every window in your home or just one at a time, we are able to help.

Chiselworks provide the full service from design, manufacturing, finishing and installation. Our highly skilled joiners only use the best quality timbers, and our windows and frames are traditionally wedge mortice and tenoned.

For paint finishing, we have a purpose built spray booth, where we can colour match any RAL colour, providing a full factory spray finish in Teknos paint.

Flush Casement and Stormproof Windows:

Seasoned hardwood windows, or softwood windows. 57mm thick section sizes, manufactured using traditional mortice and tenon with wedge construction. Timber end grain to be sprayed with preservative prior to assembly.

Sliding Sash Windows:

We manufacture traditional sliding sash windows, using weights and pulley and spiral systems. All mouldings are scribed, and we can replicate existing windows if you're looking to replace one window in a set.

Frames and Glazing:

Where applicable, we use 4-16-4 glazing units with warm spacer bars. Our frame section sizes are usually 57x90-95. All units are supplied with glazing beads fixed. Beading is moulded to match any other mould profiles on the window.

We have in-house spray facilities, with a 4m spray booth and a AAA Graco spray system. End grain is sealed with preservative in order to stop rot and swelling. Windows and frames are initially sprayed with 2 coats of microporous water based primer undercoat and left to dry naturally. We then provide a further 2 top coats of quality waterbased paint. We can colour match any RAL code.

We can either offer a supply only service, or a full installation.
